hi, i'm allison
I'm the founder of Power Reimagined, a board chairman, former Fortune 500 C-suite executive, and dog mom — meet Lily.
My sisters and I grew up moving across impoverished parts of coal country as outsiders. I still wonder at my circuitous path from coal country to Silicon Valley. That journey taught me something about power - about belonging to myself and to one another - long before I had language for it.
For two decades I built a career in Life Sciences, applying novel technologies to diagnosing and treating cancer, starting as an engineer and rising to Chief Strategy Officer at a large-cap publicly listed company. Today I serve as a board chairman and advisor to high-growth companies. I've lived and worked across continents and cultures, from startups to multinationals. My engineering degree taught me to see systems clearly. My restorative journey taught me to see people deeply.
The rooms of my career served as crucibles - testing my sense of belonging, my presence, my integrity - testing my relationship with power. My restorative journey tested me even more profoundly. That difficult interior work led to deep theological and healing studies, culminating in my qualification as a practitioner of Internal Family Systems therapy, a rigorous, evidence-based psychological model. Together, these defining dimensions restored my relationship with power and forged this movement.
I know power from the inside, where it operates at its highest stakes, and where it fractures most painfully. That's why I founded Power Reimagined - to reimagine power for its highest purpose: a force for creation and restoration.
Today, I live in San Francisco and travel the world teaching how we can restore power to its right relationship in ourselves and in the worlds we shape - cultivating belonging, deepening presence, and together building something worth inheriting.
